Visiting the Karma Dubgyu Chokhorling Monastery in Pokhara, Nepal, we recently observed a session where the lamas were going through their chants and venerations. Local devotees joined in the session fingering their beads or spinning their prayer wheels.
On a cold, blustery and windy day in November, a group of Kite Surfers caught the winds hitting the bluffs to the south of the beach, giving them enough lift to make their day. As I drove by the beach I saw their “sails” being buffeted in the wind; I didn’t have my 1080p cameras, only a small Canon G11. So as the saying goes, the “best camera is the one you have!”
